The footballer, who rushed to Sun City after the Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs, complimented Junior Masangane (Mmabana Gymnastics) and Tshiamo Matlhoane (NW Gymnastics), who competed alongside him in the same category. Saleng said that no words could adequately express how grateful he was to be recognized for his outstanding on-field performance. ”

The 16-category-awards and special awards seek to recognise, celebrate and reward exellence in various sporting codes from local, provincial and international spheres.
